My...I don't have much luck with plants either.. My mother in law could make anything grow. She lived with us for several years. My pathtic little plants would be shriveling up and dying, while her room looked like something from the rain forest, with ivy growing around the room, and other plants blooming like crazy. It was so depressing. The joke at my house is that if I enter the nursery department, the plants start whispering to each other, Please don't let her buy me I'm too young to die. Friends and family have learned long ago, to give me cut flowers, just don't buy plants for me.
